Inconsiderate people never fail to perplex you. How? Just how can one be so apathetic & detached from a basic human emotion such as compassion? And kindness. How is it that someone’s vision is only limited to their wants and needs.
Its especially disheartening if said emotions (or lack thereof) are characteristic of someone you love and care about.
And with every little act of selfishness that they commit, your faith in humanity dims just a little bit more. And more. Untill one day you decide you’ve had enough and stop feeling too.
But you know in your heart that you’re better than this. Resist. Feel. Live.
