The Book Thief is one of my all time favorite books, it has made me cry, laugh -sometimes at the same time. It’s one of those books that leave such a distinct mark & stay with you forever. There’s a ton of quotes from this book that I adore & love, but Rudy is my absolute favorite character & this quote is what I feel towards him in a nutshell, basically.
